In past shows, we’ve featured the locations, the era and the music; this year is all about the dance! The show will follow chronological order, showcasing the growth of swing from early ragtime music hall roots, with Charleston, Shag, Tap, Lindy Hop, Balboa, Rock & Roll, Slow Dance and more, through the 90s revival and all the way up to today’s incredible global swing dance trends!

THE EVOLUTION OF SWING! featured performances by professional vintage dance troupe That Swing!, special guest performers, and students of Toronto’s longest-running vintage swing dance studio, Bees’ Knees Dance.
