Mandi wraps up her classes for 2009

November 17th, 2009

I’m so glad to be able to launch this website this week. It’s been a very busy fall for me and a major time of transition. I left my corporate job of 4 years at the beginning of September and over the course of the fall I’ve been preparing Bees’ Knees behind the scenes so that this can be my full time livelihood.

A few other things have happened too. I became engaged at the end of September and in October I sold my condo and moved out. I’ve been staying with my mother while I’m in Toronto and the rest of the time I’ve been trying to settle in to my new home – in St. Catharines!

The plan is to launch Bees’ Knees Dance in St. Catharines this winter which I’m really looking forward to. I’ll be teaching in Toronto on Thursday nights and the rest of the schedule will be filled with our other wonderful team of instructors.

So now that I’m getting married next week, on November 28th, I’m so happy that I was able to get this website launched before the big day. I’m wrapping up my own teaching for the year but will have guest instructors covering my classes for the last few weeks of the year. Krister will be covering the Lindy Hop classes and Erin will do the Amateur Musical Theatre project for December which is Newsies.

I’m looking forward to returning to the studio for the Holiday Party on December 17th, this time as a newly wed! In the meantime, I hope that everyone enjoys their classes while I’m honeymooning in Disney World. I can’t wait to get back to teaching on Thursday nights in Toronto in the new year.

XO
